What's this all about then?
Central Station is creative social network for people interested in art, film and design.
If you make work, Central Station is a community where you can talk to peers and showcase yourself. It's also a place where you can find opportunities. If you're interested in creative talent, it's somewhere to spot people you might want to commission or just keep track of. And regardless of who you are, it's a space where you can browse and be entertained by a huge and ever-growing pool of creative work.
If it helps, think of it as a hub of virtual studios. At the pulse is Bulletin with news & insights from our editor plus our picks from across the site as well as the wider creative world; A community where you can make or talk about work; A portfolio space attached where you can showcase what you do, or find creative talent and there's also Collections of hidden gems and resources, Opportunities where you can advertise or take advantage of opportunities and Events where you can meet real people in the real world.
To see all of this in practise, watch the video above for a walk through of the site with designer Eleanor Young.
If you're wondering how to do some of the things Eleanor does in the video, or if you have any other questions, just have a look at the menu to the left and click on the relevant area. Discover how to join groups, share media with friends, upload content to your Portfolio as well as finding out a little bit about what Central Station is.
If we don't answer your questions here, you can email us on hello@thisiscentralstation.com
